Unboxing Identity: Dear Creative Community is my creative response to the D&AD “Make Your Mark” brief, tackling the challenge of standing out in a crowded digital landscape. I conceived a four-week mystery mailer campaign in which an illustration agency receives one of my custom-designed box each week, its sender deliberately concealed. Each box shows a pivotal event in my life and contains a tea and biscuit related to it, inviting a moment’s pause in which to read my story, and a fragment of a QR-code puzzle that, when assembled after four weeks, reveals my portfolio QR link. The first box is fully realized, combining a watercolor-and-ink scene of my farewell to Argentina with vintage-letter styling: a Manx Shearwater border symbolizing my migration from Argentina to the UK, and a postage stamp bearing my portrait as a secret signature. Running alongside this, a six-week Instagram campaign (teaser, unboxing, reflection) will engage the creative community and encourage others to share their journeys using #UnboxingIdentity and #DearCreativeCommunity, melding tactile design, narrative illustration, and social-media strategy into a memorable, interactive self-promotion campaign.
